P&C Actuary
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and refine pricing models to ensure competitive and profitable rates.
- Conduct detailed reserving analyses to estimate policy liabilities and ensure adequate reserves.
- Collaborate with underwriting, product development, and finance teams to support business objectives.
- Monitor and analyze trends in claims data to inform pricing and reserving decisions.
- Prepare and present actuarial reports to senior management and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior actuarial staff.
Qualifications:
- ACAS or FCAS designation from the Casualty Actuarial Society.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in actuarial roles, with significant experience in both pricing and reserving.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in actuarial software and data analysis tools.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality.
