Position Overview: The Managing Director will lead our Contentious Insolvency and Off-Shore Restructuring practice. This role requires a strategic thinker with extensive experience in managing high-stakes insolvency cases and restructuring projects. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of insolvency law, regulatory frameworks, and cross-border restructuring processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage contentious insolvency and off-shore restructuring engagements, ensuring the delivery of high-quality advisory services.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to address complex financial challenges faced by clients.
- Oversee the investigation and litigation of insolvency cases, including asset tracing and recovery efforts.
- Collaborate with legal, financial, and regulatory experts to devise effective restructuring strategies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and industry professionals.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to a team of professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in insolvency and restructuring.
- Represent the firm at industry conferences, seminars, and networking events.
Qualifications:
- Advanced degree in law, finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in contentious insolvency and off-shore restructuring.
- Fee Generation of 2 million per year
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex insolvency cases and restructuring projects.
- Strong knowledge of insolvency law, regulatory frameworks, and cross-border restructuring processes.
- Extensive experience with fraud, embezzlement, financial investigations, and disputes restructuring.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead and inspire a team of professionals.
- Strong network of industry contacts and relationships.
