Manager/ Senior Manager
Job Description: A prominent consulting firm is looking for a Senior Manager to join their Life and Annuity Practice. This role focuses on business development and managing diverse client projects. The Senior Manager will collaborate with top-tier clients, including insurance and reinsurance companies, investment banks, law firms, regulators, and private equity firms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage multiple client engagements, including planning, communication, and client relations.
- Develop new business opportunities to grow the client base.
- Lead or support client sales meetings and proposal creation.
- Provide industry insights through presentations, surveys, and case studies.
- Maintain a client portfolio with high accountability.
- Create and analyze financial projections, and develop life and annuity products.
- Support insurance mergers & acquisitions and capital markets transactions.
- Offer expertise on Bermuda regulations, reinsurance structuring, capital solutions, industry trends, and actuarial topics.
- Mentor and set best practices for junior colleagues.
- Collaborate with management consulting and actuarial teams.
Skills and Attributes:
- FSA/FIA or equivalent actuarial credentials with 7+ years of experience in financial consulting or insurance.
- Extensive knowledge of life insurance, annuities, and/or long-term care, with industry recognition in product development, valuation, financial reporting, and risk management.
- Proven ability to lead and manage teams, and meet tight deadlines in fast-paced environments.
- Familiarity with insurance regulations and local financial accounting principles.
- Preferred experience with financial modeling systems like Prophet or AXIS.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
- Excellent project management and leadership skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
