A High Frequency Prop Trading firm is looking to hire strong Machine Learning Engineers. They are a leader in quantitative finance and having worked at the cutting edge of quantitative finance for more than three decades.

Looking for Senior Machine Learning Engineers to join their Research Team and work closely with the Quant Researchers in helping deploy ML based solutions to help with predictive analytics within the markets.

Responsibilities:

  • Machine learning developers work closely with researchers to creatively apply their knowledge of machine learning and software engineering to design, build, and maintain systems for high-performance, large-scale knowledge discovery in financial data
  • You'll be responsible for designing, implementing, testing, and documenting modules for all stages of the pipeline from data to predictions, assembling these modules into end-to-end systems, and interacting with researchers to achieve highly productive experimentation, model construction, and validation

Requirements:

  • Strong software engineering and machine learning skills, particularly in building high-performance systems
  • A track record of building and applying high-performance machine learning systems is desired
  • Proficiency in Python, ML technologies as well as exceptional communication and commercial skills
  • Bachelors in Computer Science is required, ideally from the top 25 computer science university/school
  • Open to candidates coming from big tech, start-ups or finance

The expected annual base salary for this position is $200,000 to $250,000. Total compensation can vary from $350,000-700,000. Their compensation and benefits package includes substantial variable compensation in the form of a year-end bonus, guaranteed in the first year of hire, a sign-on bonus, and benefits including medical and prescription drug coverage, 401(k) contribution matching, wellness reimbursement, family building benefits, and a charitable gift match program.

Fun fact: Pension Plan - After Year 1, they contribute up to $60k a year!
