Are you an accomplished originator with a passion for deal-making? Ready to take your career to the next level? Our client, a prestigious mid-market boutique investment bank, is looking for an exceptional Senior Director/Managing Director (MD) Originator to join their dynamic Zurich office.

The Role:

As MD Originator, you will be at the forefront of generating and driving new business opportunities, with a focus on mid-market M&A transactions. Your ability to identify and develop relationships with key stakeholders, combined with your deep understanding of the Swiss and European M&A landscape, will be critical to your success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the origination of mid-market M&A deals, building and nurturing client relationships across various sectors.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and execute strategic business initiatives.
  • Manage the entire deal cycle, from sourcing through to execution, while maintaining the highest level of client service.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.

Your Profile:

  • A proven track record of successful deal origination within mid-market sell-side M&A
  • Strong network and established relationships with mid-market companies, investors, and advisors in the region.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to think creatively and solve complex business problems.
  • Fluency in English AND professional proficiency in German; fluency in French would be advantageous.
