London Market Reserving Actuary
Our client is a globally-renowned and reputable carrier with a strong presence in the London market, offering a wealth of commercial and specialist solutions, and insuring a variety of large-scale, complex, and evolving risks through their syndicates at Lloyd's.
They are currently seeking a Nearly/Newly-Qualified Actuary to join their London Market Reserving team. This individual will conduct and manage quarterly reserve reviews, apply their findings, and engage with stakeholders to support business planning and strategies. They will also contribute to technical model development and improvements, ensure regulatory compliance, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in pricing, underwriting, claims, and finance to enhance operational efficiency. This role will report directly to the Head of Reserving and work closely with their Chief Actuary, who remains heavily involved with each of their reporting teams at every level.

Requirements:
- Nearly or Newly Qualified Actuary through the IFoA, or equivalent.
- 4-7 years of relevant, demonstrable experience.
- Prior experience in Reserving in any General Insurance setting, i.e., Personal, Commercial, Specialty Lines.
- Knowledge of programming languages, such as R, ResQ, and SQL, considered beneficial.
