A prestigious asset manager in Boston with ten's of billions in AUM is looking to bring on a senior analyst in the chemicals and homebuilding sectors. The firm only looks for individuals with a strong academic and professional backgrounds that can work in a dynamic and collaborative environment. This leading global credit specialist invests across various credit-related strategies, including leveraged loans, high-yield bonds, and distressed securities. The firm applies rigorous analysis and diligence to credit investing. The team is looking for individuals who are a current VP or Director either on the sellside or buyside - ideally with experience covering chemicals, homebuilding, or broader industrials.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth credit analysis of corporate issuers within the chemicals and homebuilding sectors.
- Monitor and assess credit risk across various companies and geographies within these industries.
- Develop and pitch investment opportunities.
- Stay abreast of market trends, economic developments, and regulatory changes affecting the chemicals and homebuilding sectors.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related field; CFA or equivalent certification preferred.
- MUST be Current VP or Director on the sellside or senior analyst at a real money fund, with a focus on the chemicals and homebuilding sectors.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial modeling.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
