They are seeking an experienced Licensing Analyst with 3+ years in insurance producer licensing to join their in-house legal team.
Responsibilities:
- Handle producer and adjuster business entity license applications.
- Manage individual producer license applications.
- Assist with Secretary of State filings for corporations and LLCs.
- Prepare forms and gather documentation for insurance company license applications.
- Conduct legal research on statutes and regulations.
- Perform annual gap analysis of licenses.
- Maintain licensing databases.
- Update corporate document repository.
- Process invoices related to licenses.
Required Skills:
- Experience in regulatory licensing.
- Proficiency in Excel.
- Notary public (or willing to obtain).
- Experience with NIPR, Sircon, SBS, and Westlaw is a plus.
Education/Experience:
- 3+ years in a legal department, preferably in property and casualty insurance.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
