Junior Data Engineer
Location: Wroclaw, Poland
Company Overview: A leading leading Investment Management firm, that utilising cutting edge technology to make data driven investment decisions.
Role Overview: We are looking for a technically proficient Data Support Specialist to assist with data-related needs. This role involves providing support, ensuring data quality, and contributing to data documentation and coverage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with data engineers to address and resolve data issues.
- Manage support requests using JIRA or similar tools, ensuring timely resolution.
- Contribute to the creation and maintenance of data documentation.
- Assist in expanding data coverage, including live data collection and backfills.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, or a related field.
- At least 1 year of experience in data support, IT helpdesk, or technical support, preferably within the finance sector.
- Great Proficiency in Python, including experience with data libraries such as Pandas and NumPy.
- Familiarity with data systems, pipelines, and APIs.
- Experience with JIRA or similar project management tools.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and attention to detail.
