Job Title: Investment Banking Associate - Diversified Industrials (Sell-Side M&A)

Job Description:
Our client is seeking a highly motivated Investment Banking Associate with a focus on Diversified Industrials to join its dynamic team in either Charlotte or Richmond. The role specializes in sell-side M&A within the Middle/Upper Middle Market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support sell-side M&A transactions, from initial pitch through to closing.
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis, including modeling, valuations, and due diligence.
- Prepare pitch materials, offering memoranda, management presentations, and other client deliverables.
- Coordinate with senior bankers, legal teams, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of transactions.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients and potential buyers, driving business development and deal flow.
- Mentor and supervise analysts, providing guidance and oversight on their work.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in investment banking, with a focus on industrials, preferably in sell-side M&A.
- Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.
