Investment Banking Analyst
Position Overview
Our client is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Investment Banking Analyst to join their team. This person will be a part of all aspects of the deal process. This is a full time position in their Los Angeles Office.
Key Responsibilities
- Transaction Execution: Work alongside team in the execution of M&A, capital raising, and financial advisory transactions from start to finish, including due diligence, financial modeling, valuation analysis, and drafting of offering materials.
- Financial Analysis/Modeling: Conduct comprehensive financial modeling, including discounted cash flow (DCF) analysis, comparable company analysis, and other valuation methodologies
- Client Interaction: Assist in the preparation and delivery of presentations, and participate in client meetings and calls alongside senior bankers.
- Due Diligence: Support the due diligence process by gathering and analyzing data on companies, industries, and financial markets.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: Internship or 1 year of experience in investment banking, private equity, or related field. Experience with M&A transactions and capital raising is a plus.
- Technical Skills:
- Advanced financial modeling and valuation skills.
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial databases (e.g., Bloomberg, Capital IQ).
