This group is comprised of Managing Directors coming from top banks, and is adding a Software M&A Investment Banking Managing Director to bolster their name in the space. This platform and is know for having a strong team comprised of amicable, sharp, and diverse individuals with a track record of success.
This bank is currently seeking a Software Investment Banking Vice President to work on sell side M&A transactions working as a Generalist. Ideal candidates come from similar Elite Boutique or Bulge Bracket Investment Banks with deep experience in s M&A.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the execution of mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, and strategic advisory transactions.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing strategic advice and insights.
- Oversee financial analysis and modeling, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness.
- Prepare and deliver high-quality presentations and pitch materials for client meetings.
- Conduct due diligence and industry research to identify potential opportunities and risks.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including legal, compliance, and regulatory teams, to ensure seamless transaction execution.
- Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Monitor market trends and provide strategic insights to senior management and clients.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; MBA or CFA preferred.
- 6-8 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, or a related field.
- Proven track record of successfully leading and executing complex transactions.
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Team player with a proactive and positive attitude.
