DevOps Engineer
Our client, a prominent hedge fund, is currently seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join their team in Paris. This role presents an exciting opportunity to contribute to the design and implementation of cutting-edge development tools and infrastructure, with a strong focus on automation, continuous improvement, and deployment processes.
You will play a key role in streamlining development and release pipelines, managing environment deployments, upgrades, and migrations, while also building tools to enhance reliability and user experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement new development tools and infrastructure.
- Automate and optimize development and deployment workflows.
- Manage and maintain environment deployments, upgrades, and system migrations.
- Identify issues within the CI/CD pipeline and implement effective fixes.
- Develop APIs and internal tools to reduce errors and enhance performance.
- Integrate software solutions with internal backend systems and APIs.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Proficient with Git and version control systems.
- Strong scripting skills in both Windows (Batch, PowerShell) and Linux (Bash).
- Advanced proficiency in Python, with hands-on experience using Django.
- Familiarity with frontend technologies including Vue.js, TypeScript, and CSS frameworks such as Vuetify.
- Experience working with D3.js for data visualisation.
- A foundational understanding of networking and infrastructure principles.
