Position Title: AVP, Pricing
Summary: Responsible for planning, designing, and pricing life insurance products, ensuring alignment with pricing guidelines and profitability targets. Provides product expertise and strategy to develop products that meet company goals.
Reports to: VP, Product Officer
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with product leadership to deliver products from concept to implementation.
- Develop and price life insurance products, including risk analysis and product approval.
- Create pricing frameworks and filing strategies.
- Lead product pricing and ensure model governance.
- Engage and develop team members, fostering a risk-aware culture.
- Drive process enhancements for scalability.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- FSA required
- Minimum 7 years of actuarial experience, focusing on Indexed Universal Life.
- 4+ years in actuarial product development with knowledge of distribution and regulatory requirements.
- Experience with actuarial modeling software (e.g., GGY AXIS).
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple initiatives.
- Demonstrated leadership and ability to influence decisions.
