Associate Actuary
I'm currently partnering with a rapidly expanding, top-tier life insurance company that's a true leader in the industry. With a close-knit, family-oriented Midwest culture, this Kansas City-based company is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative, supportive environment. They're looking to add an Associate Actuary to their Product Development and Pricing team.
The ideal candidate will be FSA-level and ready to make an immediate impact. A strong background in annuities is essential, along with experience modeling in MG ALFA.

Qualifications & Requirements:
- A degree in math, statistics, finance, or a related field
- Proven experience as an actuary with a strong track record
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to engage with stakeholders
- Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational skills, able to manage multiple projects efficiently
- Experience with MG-ALFA or similar actuarial software is preferred
- Compensation will be competitive and based on experience and qualifications
- Reliable attendance and punctuality are crucial for success in this role
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide in-depth actuarial support and analysis through research, data analysis, and modeling
- Contribute to the development and validation of actuarial models for pricing, financial projections, and cash flow testing
- Take part in experience studies and the creation and validation of actuarial assumptions for various applications
- Deliver clear explanations, justifications, and analysis for actuarial modeling and product-related projects
- Collaborate in R&D and innovation efforts, presenting findings and working closely with other actuaries and teams
- Leverage actuarial software to support critical decision-making and business analysis
