Infrastructure Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

* Design, develop, and maintain core distributed infrastructure systems, including storage, computing, and networking, ensuring high availability, scalability, and stability.
* Build reusable middle-ware, service frameworks, and public components (e.g., message queues, DB middle-ware, monitoring systems) to streamline development.
* Optimise system performance and tackle challenges related to high concurrency and throughput, such as memory management and I/O bottlenecks.
* Research cutting-edge infrastructure technologies, evaluate and introduce suitable tools and frameworks for real-world use cases, and provide technical recommendations.
* Lead the resolution of complex technical issues in system development and operations; handle urgent infrastructure problems quickly and effectively.
* Define and enforce infrastructure architectural principles, standards, and best practices; continuously monitor and refine infrastructure to align with business goals.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree with majoring in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields.
* 3+ years of experience in infrastructure development with a solid understanding of system architecture, operating systems, networks, storage, containers, cloud computing, security, databases, and middle ware.
* Proficient in at least one programming language such as C/C++, Go, or Java; strong Linux development experience preferred.
* Deep understanding of distributed system principles, network programming, and high-concurrency architecture.
* Familiar with deploying and tuning middle-ware tools like Kafka, Redis, and databases like MySQL/NoSQL.
* Skilled in performance tuning with tools such as gdb, valgrind, or perf under Linux.
