Crisis Management & Fusion Intelligence Specialist
This role is critical in proactively identifying, managing, and mitigating risks associated with significant events or incidents that may disrupt business operations. You will provide actionable awareness, alerts, and operational readiness information in response to a range of crisis events—including fraud, physical security breaches, technology failures, natural disasters, and other incidents within the program's scope. Working closely with key stakeholders (security, business operations, and other teams), you will help develop holistic responses and recovery strategies to ensure the safety and continuity of the business, its partners, and customers. This includes analyzing threat data to identify emerging risks and coordinating responses to minimize impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactive Event Monitoring: Continuously monitor and identify potential or ongoing events that could disrupt business operations, such as fraud, security breaches, and technology or natural disasters.
- Solution Implementation: Analyze incidents and develop actionable recommendations and solutions to mitigate risks to business continuity.
- Reporting & Communication: Design and deliver both regular and ad-hoc written and verbal reports for business leaders and crisis management teams, ensuring clear communication of threats and incidents.
- Incident Management: Assess incidents to determine their impact, urgency, and identify the key audience for effective mitigation and response. Facilitate responses to significant events and support the recovery process.
- Threat Analysis: Synthesize internal and external threat data to provide early warnings and intelligence. Fill any gaps in threat intelligence and escalate as necessary.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including security, business operations, and other functional teams, to ensure coordinated response efforts and minimize business disruption.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 2-4 years of relevant experience in Crisis Management, Event Response, Security Operations, or a Fusion Center. Experience in handling incidents related to fraud, physical security, or technology disruptions is strongly preferred.
- Analytical Skills: Strong ability to assess the significance, accuracy, and reliability of information from both technical and non-technical sources, ensuring thorough analysis for decision-making.
- Technical Tools: Familiarity with tools like Everbridge (or similar crisis management platforms) for monitoring, alerting, and reporting during critical incidents.
- Self-Motivation: Demonstrated ability to work independently and proactively, managing multiple tasks with minimal oversight.
- Communication Skills: Strong presentation skills and experience in writing comprehensive reports or briefs for senior management and other stakeholders.
- Research Aptitude: Eagerness to learn new security disciplines and adapt to emerging threats, with a continuous improvement mindset.
