Business Analyst (Capital Markets Technology)
Our client, a leading global investment bank in Singapore, is looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join their dynamic team. In this critical role, you will act as a liaison between the business stakeholders (Front, Middle, and Back Office) and IT teams to help deliver effective solutions that support business operations and growth. You’ll play an integral part in managing incident resolutions, enhancements, and change requests, ensuring seamless communication and successful project implementation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with business stakeholders across Front, Middle, and Back Office functions to gather, define, and document clear business requirements for system enhancements, incidents, and change requests.
- Incident & Bug Management: Troubleshoot and resolve any bugs or issues impacting business operations, working closely with IT teams to implement fixes and improvements.
- Business & IT Collaboration: Serve as the key point of contact between the business and IT teams, ensuring requirements are fully understood and effectively translated into technical solutions.
- Change Management: Support change requests, enhancements, and project implementation to ensure systems are continuously optimized and meet evolving business needs.
- Stakeholder Communication: Provide regular updates and reports to business and IT stakeholders, ensuring alignment and transparency throughout project lifecycles.
Requirements:
- Experience: 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in the financial services or investment banking industry, with a strong focus on Back Office operations.
- Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of financial instruments and products, with hands-on experience using key applications such as Murex, Summit, Calypso, or similar financial platforms.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues while coordinating with IT teams to deliver efficient solutions.
- Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively between business and IT teams.
- Analytical Ability: Solid analytical skills, with the ability to understand and document detailed business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
