Selby Jennings has been engaged by a leading Energy Infrastructure-focused Private Equity firm in Houston to identify leadership within several portfolio companies. These individuals will lead both organic and inorganic growth strategies with high-performing assets and a team tha has been realizing top decile returns in recent funds. These professionals will have significant input on long term guidance and participate meaningfully in the firms eventual exits.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of the company's long-term strategic plan.
- Conduct market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and threats in the energy sector.
- Collaborate with business units to align strategic initiatives with overall company goals.
- Identify and evaluate potential mergers, acquisitions, and partnerships.
- Lead due diligence processes and negotiations for strategic transactions.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, partners, and industry experts.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of investment banking experience, ideally covering M&A within natural resources or energy
- 5+ total years of experience investing in or building businesses
- Midstream Oil & Gas exposure highly preferred
- Bachelors degree from a top STEM, Business, Finance or related program; MBA is a plus but not required
