As a senior full-stack engineer, you'll work on the interface and back-end infrastructure of products and features used by hundreds of underwriters and every day. You must display solid proficiency in the fundamentals of Python, PostgreSQL, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and popular front-end frameworks like Vue.js.
The role will include the delivery of reliable, scalable new features to users, developed in Python, interacting with a PostgreSQL database and using the Vue.js front-end framework. Our team includes designers, engineers and data scientists who are passionate about quality, usability, and simplicity. Primary Responsibilities
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team of software engineers and data professionals to develop new features.
- Strive for high quality and rapid output utilizing agile software development
- Support, maintain, and document software functionality
- Maintain industry standard coding, compliance, & security practices
- Proactively learn product frameworks and code base
- Communicate and problem-solve daily with teammates, clients, vendors, and other stakeholders, possibly in combination with travel
Education And Experience
- Bachelor's or master's, preferably in computer science or related field
- 4 plus years of experience in full stack development
- 4 plus years of experience with Python and PostgreSQL
- 2 plus years of experience with JavaScript frameworks
