Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled compliance expert to serve as the Senior Compliance Expert for a leading exchange. This role is integral to the exchange's leadership team, contributing to its growth and development by ensuring compliance with regulatory obligations and overseeing adherence to exchange rules.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure the exchange operates fair, orderly, and transparent markets.
• Guarantee adherence to exchange rules and procedures.
• Collaborate with the Management Board to establish and maintain a framework that positions the exchange at the forefront of global best practices.
• Supervise members through offsite reviews and onsite inspections, ensuring ongoing compliance with rules and internal controls.
• Participate in market surveillance activities through relevant committees.
• Manage disciplinary proceedings against members.
• Oversee the performance of outsourced service providers and report to governance committees.
• Ensure the exchange meets recognition requirements in various jurisdictions, anticipate regulatory changes, and influence new regulatios.
• Act as the central liaison with regulators, coordinating and responding to regulatory queries.
• Maintain relationships with regulatory bodies and ensure timely submission of regulatory returns.
• Obtain necessary regulatory approvals and manage regulatory inspections.
• Coordinate compliance reporting to head office.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Degree-level education or equivalent.
• Extensive experience in exchange regulation or a related field.
• In-depth knowledge of derivatives.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong initiative, organizational skills, and teamwork orientation.
• High attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
