Firm Overview: A leading, up-and-coming private equity firm based in the heart of Coral Gables, FL is looking to expand at the Associate level with a summer 2025 start date. This emerging manager has seen incredible success with their investment strategy and is looking to grow their team long-term. The Associate seat comes with a long-term growth opportunity in order to help maintain the strong company culture that the team has built.
Private Equity Associate Responsibilities:
- Evaluate investment opportunities and conduct comprehensive due diligence.
- Perform in-depth company and industry research to identify potential investment targets.
- Develop and maintain financial models for deal evaluation and portfolio management.
- Assist in deal execution, including coordinating with legal, accounting, and other professionals.
- Prepare and present investment recommendations to the investment committee.
- Monitor the financial performance of portfolio companies and provide regular updates to senior management.
- Support portfolio companies in their strategic and operational development.
- Participate in fundraising activities by preparing presentations and responding to investor inquiries.
Private Equity Associate Qualifications:
- Proven work experience in private equity, investment banking, or related fields.
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
- High level of integrity and professionalism.
