Trading Systems Engineer | LDN
I'm currently partnered with a global trading firm who are looking for a systems engineer to join their London team. With over 30 years of experience in the space, this is an exciting opportunity to work within a well-established team who are leaders in the trading space and pride themselves on the growth and development of their employees.
Role Overview:
- Provide critical support for proprietary and third-party trading systems.
- Ensure maximum trading system availability and quick recovery from incidents.
- Support production systems across multiple asset classes and locations (primarily Linux, some Windows).
- Develop automation and monitoring tools, troubleshoot incidents, and automate software configuration.
- Maintain market connectivity and communicate with exchanges.
- Collaborate with global teams and document procedures.
Requirements:
- Strong troubleshooting skills and experience with high-performance applications.
- Knowledge of FIX protocol, scripting, SQL, and Linux & Windows support.
- Experience with electronic trading systems and network communications.
- Flexible work schedule with rotating on-call coverage.
