An industry leading Market Making Firm is looking to hire a Risk Analyst to cover Options and Volatility trading in NYC.
The firm handles several billion dollars worth of retail and institutional flows daily across equities, fixed income, and options trading on a daily basis. This hire will focus specifically on intraday risk management for the multi-asset options market making side. Candidates will need expertise when it comes to options Greeks, volatility surface construction and calibration, and vega/volatility hedging strategies - this is a fast paced, highly technical environment.
For this group, it's ideal to come from an Equity Derivatives/Equity Vol background (single name, index, ETFs). Additional exposure on FX and Rates Options trading is a plus.
For any Quant Risk Analyst currently supporting Options Trading, Volatility Trading, and/or Systematic Market Making, this is an excellent opportunity with a premier firm.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience including time at a hedge fund, prop trading firm, or top investment bank
- Expertise with intraday risk analytics on systematic market making and/or derivatives trading desk
- Familiarity with portfolio vega calculations, Greeks-based PnLs, and volatility hedging strategies
- Deep knowledge of exchange traded Equity or Rates/FX derivatives and options
- Proficiency in Python/SQL
