Role Overview: The Business Developer will be responsible for driving sales and investor engagement across the firm's liquid investment strategies. This individual will focus on identifying and cultivating relationships with institutional investors, wealth managers, and other key stakeholders to expand the firm's investor base. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial markets, a proven track record in fundraising or institutional sales, and the ability to articulate complex investment strategies effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a strategic business development plan focused on liquid investment strategies.
  • Identify and establish relationships with institutional investors, family offices, and wealth management firms.
  • Present and promote the firm's liquid investment solutions, demonstrating how they align with client needs and market trends.
  • Work closely with internal investment teams to stay updated on fund performance, strategy evolution, and market positioning.
  • Monitor industry trends and competitor activity to refine sales strategies and identify new opportunities.
  • Represent the firm at industry conferences, events, and investor meetings to strengthen brand presence and drive engagement.

Candidate Profile:

  • Strong experience in business development, investor relations, or institutional sales within asset management, hedge funds, or alternative investments.
  • Deep understanding of liquid investment products and strategies, particularly within structured credit, public markets, or opportunistic trading.
  • Established network of institutional investors, family offices, or wealth managers.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence sophisticated investors.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, self-motivated, and results-oriented.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
