A leading international investment bank is seeking Market Risk (analyst & associate) level talent for a strategically focused function within their 2nd line team. The bank is seeking market risk candidates with strong derivatives knowledge, hands-on market risk experience covering VaR, Regulatory Capital, and stress-testing.
The Role:
- Improve/develop the risk management framework for the bank
- Market Risk monitoring
- Implement desk-level initiatives to improve upon the banks risk infrastructure in terms of:
- Data
- Systems
- Governance
- Regulatory (FRTB/Basel metrics)
- Front-to-back view of the market risk function, help escalate desk-level issues and implement changes to improve on market risk methodology across asset classes
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of Market Risk experience
- Strong knowledge of financial derivatives gained from working in a market risk role
- VBA
