ECM Syndicate
Role
- Lead the syndication process for ECM transactions, including IPOs, follow-on offerings, and block trades.
- Collaborate with the ECM origination team to structure and price equity offerings.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with institutional investors, retail brokers, and other market participants.
- Conduct market research and analysis to support the syndication strategy.
- Coordinate with internal teams, including legal, compliance, and operations, to ensure smooth transaction execution.
- Provide market feedback and insights to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Manage and mentor junior team members, fostering their professional growth.
- Stay updated on market trends, regulatory changes, and industry developments.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in ECM syndication or related roles within investment banking.
- Strong understanding of ECM products and capital markets.
- Proven track record of successfully managing ECM syndication processes.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Fluency in Mandarin and English; proficiency in Cantonese is a plus.
