YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and nurture a team of accounting and tax experts spread across various international locations.
- Oversee the group consolidation process, including handling intercompany eliminations and currency translations.
- Prepare and coordinate monthly, quarterly, and annual statutory financial statements in line with local GAAP and IFRS.
- Formulate and implement tax strategies to minimize liabilities while ensuring compliance with both local and international tax laws.
- Collaborate with other departments (e.g., financial reporting, legal, treasury) to ensure business goals and strategies are aligned.
- Act as the primary contact for stakeholders on accounting matters, especially for tax authorities and auditors.
YOUR PROFILE
- Degree in economics, with a focus on accounting, financial reporting, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of leadership experience.
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in an auditing firm, preferably one of the 'Big 4'.
- Training as a tax advisor is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of international accounting standards (HGB/IFRS) and tax regulations; familiarity with UK GAAP is a bonus.
- Experience with DATEV, LucaNet, and ERP systems (e.g., MS Business Central) and finance ERP migration is advantageous.
- Excellent financial, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in English and good command of German.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, across all management levels.
