Job Summary

Our client, a prominent real estate investment firm specializing in multifamily properties, is looking for an Asset Management Analyst to help support their expanding portfolio. This role will play a key part in evaluating asset performance, conducting financial modeling, capital planning, market research, and preparing investor reports. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical abilities, a keen interest in real estate investment, and the adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct continuous research on industry trends and market dynamics to assess property performance against market and submarket benchmarks.
  • Perform detailed financial modeling and analysis to evaluate property performance relative to initial underwriting projections.
  • Monitor capital expenditures, ensuring they are in line with budget and project timelines.
  • Prepare presentations and reports for investors and equity partners.
  • Assist with due diligence for acquisitions and dispositions, including tracking and analysis.
  • Support the development of business plans, annual asset budgets, and asset valuation processes.
  • Analyze asset performance and provide insights to both internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment with portfolio objectives.
  • Collaborate with investment partners, lenders, brokers, property management companies, and contractors to implement asset management strategies.
  • Contribute to company initiatives and assist with special projects as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, accounting, real estate, or a related field.
  • 0-2 years of experience in real estate, finance, or a related analytical role preferred.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, market analysis, and asset performance evaluation.
  • Strong Excel skills and familiarity with industry-standard financial analysis tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced investment environment.
  • Passion for real estate investment and asset management.
