We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Accounting Manager to join our finance team.The Accounting Manager will oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. This role involves managing a team of accountants, coordinating audits, and implementing financial controls to support the company's strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
  • Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
  • Coordinate and lead the annual audit process, liaise with external auditors, and ensure timely completion.
  • Develop and implement financial controls and procedures to enhance the accuracy and integrity of financial data.
  • Analyze financial data and provide insights to senior management to support decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
  • Mentor and develop accounting staff, providing training and professional development opportunities.
  • Collaborate with other departments to support overall business objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
