The FTC Non-Compete Ban

The Federal Trade Commission’s recent ruling banning non-competes could dramatically alter talent retention and competition, with significant implications for hiring managers and organisations. 

Originally set to come into effect on 4 September 2024, the United States District Court for the Northern District of Texas recently issued final judgment setting aside the ruling, meaning companies do not need to abide at present.
