This role offers a unique opportunity to work on pricing for reinsurance contracts while leveraging your coding skills in VBA, SQL, or Python. The position is based in New York City and follows a hybrid work model, providing flexibility and a balanced work-life environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct pricing analysis for reinsurance contracts.
- Develop and maintain actuarial models using VBA, SQL, or Python.
- Collaborate with underwriters, actuaries, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate pricing and risk assessment.
- Analyze data to identify trends and provide insights for decision-making.
- Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations for senior management.
- Stay updated with industry trends and regulatory changes affecting reinsurance pricing.
Qualifications:
- 0-3 years of actuarial experience.
- Passed 1-3 actuarial exams.
- Proficiency in VBA, SQL, or Python preferred but not required.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
