Position Overview: Our Client is seeking a highly motivated and analytical Investment Associate to join our team in Denver, Colorado. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in media and entertainment, a keen eye for emerging trends, and the ability to evaluate investment opportunities critically. This role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with experienced investors and entrepreneurs, gaining hands-on experience in venture capital.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify potential investment opportunities in the media and entertainment sectors.
- Evaluate business plans, financial statements, and market potential of prospective investments.
- Assist in the due diligence process, including financial modeling, competitive analysis, and risk assessment.
- Prepare investment memos and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Monitor and support portfolio companies, providing strategic guidance and operational assistance.
- Build and maintain relationships with entrepreneurs, industry experts, and co-investors.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- 2-4 years of experience in venture capital, private equity, investment banking, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Passion for media and entertainment, with a deep understanding of industry trends and dynamics.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
