Our client, a world leading trading firm is seeking a Senior Frontend Team Lead to join a business-critical team, building data-intensive, interactive applications enabling users to connect with critical data across the firm. This is a new project aiming to transform the firm's performance through impressive User Interfaces and data visualisation across functions such as Portfolio Management, Treasury & Risk, Research and Operations.

You'll utilise modern technologies such as React, TypeScript and Node.js to build a modern, cutting-edge suite of products. As the Team Lead you will lead a team that owns critical components of the firm's software platform, combine people and technical leadership, owning the project and providing hands-on development and support.

Key Responsibilities:
-Leading and mentoring a team of engineers with a diverse skill set.

-Drive forward project ownership by defining requirements, allocating resources and ensuring the timely delivery of projects.

-Collaborate with various development teams, ensuring all goals and dependencies are met.

-Identify and implement processes to ensure efficient delivery of the project.

-Contribute towards the system and architecture design discussions, actively participate in feature development and challenge ideas.

Required Skills:

-At least 7 years of front-end/full-stack development.

-Over 3 years of technical leadership experience.

-Experienced with React, Typescript and Node.js

-Excellent problem solving skills with an ability to work across development and support tasks.

-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with a global workforce.
