About the Role:
The company is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their Appraisals, Claim Management, or Transactions Engineering Teams. The interview process will involve a team matching. If you are passionate about technology, eager to learn, and ready to create impactful solutions, this role is for you!
Responsibilities:
- Enhance tools to automate workflows and boost productivity.
- Build out the platform and own feature development.
- Contribute to technical design processes and provide feedback.
- Play a key role in growing the company to be a technology leader.
- Work in an agile environment, participating in stand-ups and retrospectives.
- Proactively challenge scopes, flag issues, and suggest alternatives.
- Collaborate with engineers, product management, and design to solve complex problems.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of backend-focused web development experience with React.js.
- Experience designing and building APIs.
- Proficiency in designing schemas and writing performant queries for relational databases.
- Understanding of scalability challenges and server-side code performance.
- Prior experience with Ruby on Rails preferred, or other OO programming languages such as Python, C#, Java.
- Eagerness to learn and work with a collaborative team.
- Commitment to quality and passion for technology.
- Ability to manage tasks and contribute to multiple initiatives during a sprint.
