Key Responsibilities:

• Market Analysis & Strategy Development: Regularly evaluate crude oil trading opportunities by analyzing market trends, geopolitical events, supply-demand dynamics, and economic indicators to identify profitable opportunities.
• Trading Strategy Execution: Develop, test, and execute short-term and long-term trading strategies that align with both individual and company-wide profit goals.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key stakeholders including clients, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth and effective operations across all trading activities.
• Desk Expansion: Contribute to the strategic build-out and growth of the trading desk, enhancing its profitability, market share, and positioning within the sector.
• Risk Management: Actively monitor and manage risk exposure, ensuring that all trades are executed with appropriate risk parameters and within compliance with company policies.
• Market Intelligence: Stay ahead of market trends, news, and events that could impact crude oil pricing, and provide insights to senior leadership on market shifts or potential risks.

Necessary Skills & Experience:

• Crude Oil Trading Expertise: Ideally 3+ years of experience in crude oil trading or a closely related field, with a strong understanding of market fundamentals, technical analysis, and trading strategies.
