Crisis Management & Fusion Intelligence Specialist
This role is responsible for proactive identification and management of significant events and incidents which pose potential or actual risk to the business operations. Provides awareness, indications, warnings, and operational readiness information in response to crisis events involving fraud, physical security, technology, natural disasters, and other incidents within scope of the program. Brings together stakeholders (e.g. security, business, and business operational teams) to holistically understand threats and help organize response and recovery options. Analyzes physical security, technology, and natural disaster information to proactively identify significant events to protect the enterprise, its customers and partners from security related, technology, and natural disaster threats. Responds and reports activities in the event of a crisis/incident, including notification, escalation and coordination of resources to understand risks and help respond and recover from significant events and emergencies.
Responsibilities:
* Proactively monitor for potential and actual significant events that might lead to disruption of business operations.
* Recommends and implements solutions based on analysis of issues and implications for the business.
* Designs and produces regular and ad-hoc written and verbal reports and updates to business and crisis management stakeholders.
* Identifies incidents of significance, determines impact, urgency and audience to whom prevention, detection, mitigation and remediation guidance would be most beneficial.
* Analyzes threat data and synthesizes the analysis to identify, escalate, and fill intelligence gaps.
* Provides security related threat analysis, alerting, and reporting based on information gathered from both internal and external sources.
Qualifications:
* 2-4 years of relevant experience in Crisis Management, Event Response, a security operations team, or a fusion center strongly preferred.
* Ability to review information to determine its significance, validate its accuracy and assess its reliability to technical and non-technical audiences.
* Experience or knowledge utilizing Everbridge tools.
* Self-starter, self-motivated and able to work independently with little oversight.
* Presentation skills and experience writing briefs or reports for senior management.
* Aptitude for conducting research, learning new security disciplines.
