Role Overview:
Our client, a leading investment bank, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Vice President to join the Private Debt Financing team. The VP will play a critical role in managing and expanding the corporate credit financing platform, ensuring the execution of high-quality transactions, and maintaining strong client relationships. This position requires a deep understanding of corporate credit, lender financing, and market dynamics.
Key Responsibilities:
* Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with institutional clients, including asset managers, hedge funds, and other financial institutions.
* Transaction Execution: Lead the structuring, negotiation, and execution of secured lending transactions, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
* Portfolio Management: Oversee the performance and risk management of the secured lending portfolio, including monitoring credit risk and market conditions.
* Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market analysis to identify opportunities and risks in the fixed income and secured lending space.
* Team Leadership: Mentor and manage junior team members, providing guidance and support to ensure their professional development.
* Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including trading, risk management, and legal, to ensure seamless execution of transactions.
Qualifications:
* Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CFA preferred.
* Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of experience in secured lending or related areas at a similar financial institution.
* Skills: Strong analytical skills, excellent communication and negotiation abilities, and proficiency in financial modeling and market analysis.
* Knowledge: In-depth understanding of fixed income products, secured lending structures, and regulatory requirements.
* Attributes: Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
