Role Overview:
A high performing global multi-manager hedge fund is seeking a Senior Volatility Quantitative Researcher to join a small, collaborative team focused on systematic equity and volatility strategies. In this role, you will work closely with the senior portfolio manager to develop and implement volatility futures spreads and other systematic strategies across global markets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the senior portfolio manager and other members of the team to develop systematic equity volatility signals and strategies.
- Leverage statistical or machine learning techniques to analyze large data sets for signal/strategy research.
- Assist in the automation of research, execution and trading processes to improve team performance and efficiency.
- Assist in the monitoring of strategies performance in real-time to ensure alignment with investment goals and risk constraints.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Master's or PhD in a quantitative discipline such as Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, or related field.
- At least 4 years of experience in quantitative research or trading with a focus on equities or volatility trading strategies.
- Proficient programming skills in Python or C++, Linux knowledge a strong plus.
Target Start Date:
- ASAP preferred, flexible to consider non-competes.
