Seeking an experienced Underwriting Operations Manager to lead our team in Davenport, IA. This role involves overseeing rating, issuance, and servicing of insurance policies, with a focus on developing efficient operations and processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and communicate strategic direction for the Underwriting Operations team.
- Develop and implement departmental goals in alignment with company mission.
- Provide leadership and oversight to Unit Supervisors.
- Develop, monitor, and maintain departmental metrics and workflows.
- Serve as point of escalation for process and operational issues.
- Implement new operating processes and procedures for efficiency.
- Conduct audits and reviews to identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with Claims, Underwriting, and Risk Control teams.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or equivalent work experience.
- Knowledge of insurance reporting bureaus, ISO, and NCCI.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in insurance industry software and Microsoft Office Suite.
