Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with agents and brokers.
- Manage a profitable Excess Liability portfolio, including new business, renewals, and endorsements.
- Meet quoting and binding commitments per Service Level Agreements.
- Operate within defined authority limits.
- Apply sound underwriting judgment on pricing, terms, applications, and schedules.
- Work independently with occasional consultation with management.
- Mentor and develop junior underwriters.
Key Qualifications:
- 7-10 years of insurance underwriting experience
- Experience working with wholesale brokers.
- Experience in General Liability and Excess Liability.
- Bachelor's degree or relevant industry designations/experience preferred.
