Reference Data Analyst
Responsibilities:
- Manage and update essential data within our Reference Data suite, including security master, corporate actions, pricing, and legal entity data.
- Collaborate closely with trading, research, and operational teams to understand their data requirements and expectations.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned or needed.
Required Skills:
- A curious approach to work, aiming to understand the technology behind business processes and how the data managed by the Vendor Data Group affects end users.
- Ability to gather data from various sources and make informed decisions on its internal representation to meet trading, research, and operational needs.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to clearly convey requirements for technology and Vendor Data Group practices to end users.
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar role within the financial industry.
- Demonstrated data ownership and attention to detail.
- Technical skills (preferred but not required): SQL, Python, Linux, Microsoft Office Suite.
- Consistent and reliable availability.
