Healthcare Private Equity Partner

An established LMM HC PE firm based out of Los Angeles, CA is looking to add on an individual at the Parter level. The firm is doing well currently and is growing but has recently realized some more senior vision at the top could be useful in accomplishing the goals they have for themselves. This would be an in-person role but the start date is flexible. If this is of interest and you meet the below requirments, please apply!

Job Requirements:

  1. Educational Background:

    • Bachelros degree (Ideally in Economics or Finance)
    • MBA preffered but not required
    • Certifications such as CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) can be advantageous.
  2. Experience:

    • 20-30 years of of finance experience with at least 15 of those years being in the Private Equity space
    • Proven track record in leading and managing investments in the healthcare sector.
  3. Skills:

    • Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.
    • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
    • Deep understanding of healthcare industry trends, regulations, and market dynamics.
    • Leadership and team management skills.

Responsibilities:

  1. Investment Strategy:

    • Develop and implement investment strategies tailored to the healthcare sector.
    • Identify and evaluate potential investment opportunities.
  2. Due Diligence:

    • Conduct thorough due diligence on potential investments, including financial analysis, market research, and risk assessment.
  3. Portfolio Management:

    • Oversee and manage portfolio companies, providing strategic guidance and operational support.
    • Work closely with management teams to drive growth and value creation.
  4. Deal Execution:

    • Lead negotiations and structuring of investment deals.
    • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  5. Networking and Relationship Building:

    • Build and maintain relationships with industry stakeholders, including healthcare providers, regulators, and other investors.
    • Represent the firm at industry conferences and events.
  6. Team Leadership:

    • Mentor and develop junior team members.
    • Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the team.
