Private Equity Associate
Selby Jennings is working with an Austin, TX based Private Equity firm that is building out their investment team and is seeking an Associate addition in 2025. This firm is a family office managing 5 portfolio companies and invest on a deal by deal basis. Additionally, they will be raising a dedicated Fund 1 in the next year or two, targeting $200 - $300M. This firm primarily invests in the industrials and business services sectors. The opportunity is here to get in on the ground floor of a stable investment firm with great investor support from the family and outside LPs, where there is immense room for growth and high upside.
Qualifications:
- Finance or related Bachelor's degree
- Experience at an investment bank, private equity or private credit firm.
- Strong LBO modelling experience
- Comfortable working on a lean team with diverse responsibilities
