Personal Lines Account Manager

Primary Functions:

  • Collaborate with team members to achieve goals.
  • Manage and process new and renewal personal lines business.
  • Provide in-house customer service to clients.
  • Assist producers with new business and renewals.
  • Handle direct bill daily deposits as needed.
  • Integrate the company's mission and core values into daily activities.

Major Responsibilities:

  1. Manage a portfolio of business efficiently, review accounts, educate clients, and document accordingly.
  2. Conduct annual account reviews.
  3. Participate in Agency Incentive Plans.
  4. Oversee the renewal process, ensuring policies are renewed, rewritten, or remarketed.
  5. Handle client and company inquiries, referring to producers when necessary, and keep producers informed.
  6. Maintain a follow-up system for endorsements, new business policies, and correspondence.
  7. Keep files organized and up-to-date, using the system for notes and diaries.
  8. Stay proficient with the Agency Management System, policies, procedures, and relevant software.
  9. Attend meetings related to banking and insurance.
  10. Sell insurance products with commission potential.
  11. Identify and refer new business opportunities to various areas of the company.

Qualifications:

  1. Strong communication skills.
  2. Ability to multitask in a complex environment.
  3. Above-average computer skills and independent decision-making.
  4. Required state licenses.
  5. Attendance at educational seminars / continual learning and development .
  6. Willingness to travel.
