Internal Wholesaler

A leading investment manager with around $20 billion in AUM is looking to bring on a regional consultant (internal wholesaler) to their office in NYC or the Philly area. This person will get the opportunity to excel in relationship-building through partnering with the firm's external wholesaler in order to win business across the firm's Strategic Account Relationships. If you are looking for a new role in the distribution world that will allow your interpersonal skills to flourish, and you are ready to own relationships across your own territory, then this opportunity is for you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the firm's External Wholesalers in order to maintain preexisting client relationships and to prospect new ones in your own specified territory
  • Help the firm maximize sales goals by hitting daily, weekly, monthly, and annual sales targets related to phone and email communication
  • Craft detailed sales plans with your external partner and the firm's Business Intelligence team
  • Implement comprehensive understanding of products / investment strategies in client communication; engage in rapport with clients, maintain sustained interest and communication through interpersonal skills and product knowledge
  • Leverage the firm's CRM and digital marketing tools while providing weekly activity and pipeline reporting

Key Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in internal investment sales
  • Strong computer skills on platforms including MS Word, Excel, Salesforce CRM, etc.
  • FINRA Series 7 & 63/66
  • Competitive attitude coupled with a high degree of integrity
