Fixed Income Quantitative Analyst - Investment Bank, Paris
An investment bank in Paris are looking for a senior Rates quant analyst to join their front office team. The team have a large number of new modelling projects assigned for 2025 for many different derivatives. Examples of the products covered are: options, inflation, hybrids, swaptions and more.
This individual will not only get the chance to lead modelling projects but will also collaborate very frequently with the trading desk.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain quantitative models for pricing, risk management, and trading of interest rate products.
- Conduct in-depth analysis and research to support trading strategies and decision-making processes.
- Collaborate with traders, risk managers, and other stakeholders to understand their needs and provide quantitative solutions.
- Monitor and analyze market trends, economic data, and financial news to identify potential risks and opportunities.
- Mentor and guide junior quantitative analysts, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
Qualifications:
- Advanced degree (PhD or Master's) in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, or Finance.
- Extensive experience in quantitative analysis, preferably within the rates market.
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, C++, or MATLAB.
- Proficiency in statistical and mathematical modeling techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in French is a plus.
