On behalf of our client, a prestigious investment management firm based in Copenhagen, we are seeking a talented and experienced Finance Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity for a finance professional to join a leading firm and contribute to its continued success. The Finance Manager will be instrumental in driving financial strategy, ensuring regulatory compliance, and providing insightful analysis to support investment decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop comprehensive financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning. Provide detailed analysis and insights to senior management.
  • Reporting: Oversee the preparation and presentation of financial reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. Ensure all reports are accurate and timely.
  • Investment Analysis: Perform in-depth financial analysis of potential investment opportunities. Offer recommendations based on thorough risk assessment and projected returns.
  • Cash Flow Management: Monitor and manage the firm's cash flow to maintain liquidity and financial stability. Optimise working capital and manage debt financing.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
  • Strategic Support: Work closely with senior management to develop and implement financial strategies that align with the firm's objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; a Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is preferred.
  • At least 5 years of experience in finance management, ideally within the investment management sector.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in financial modelling and analysis.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • Thorough understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Proven leadership skills and experience managing a team.
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI).
