China Equity Analyst | Long-short Hedge Fund
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced China Equity Analyst to join the team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in long-short equity strategies, with a primary focus on the China market. Experience with H-shares and US-listed Chinese companies is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth research and analysis of A/H/US share.
- Develop and maintain financial models to support investment decisions.
- Identify and evaluate investment opportunities in the China market, focusing on both long and short positions.
- Monitor market trends, economic data, and industry developments to provide timely and actionable insights.
- Collaborate with portfolio managers to develop and implement investment strategies.
- Prepare detailed research reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of regulatory and market developments in China.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field; CFA designation preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as an equity analyst, with a focus on the China market.
- Proven track record in long-short equity strategies.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Mandarin and English is highly desirable.
