To accelerate their growth, they are seeking a VP of Sales-a driven, strategic leader who can build and expand relationships with private equity firms, drive revenue, and own the entire sales function from prospecting to closing high-value deals. This is an opportunity to shape and lead sales at a firm that is redefining how investment teams access critical expertise.

About the Role

This leadership position requires a strategic, results-driven sales executive who thrives in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment. The ideal candidate has strong business acumen, private equity knowledge, negotiation skills, and a growth mindset.

This role can be based in-office out of Boise, Idaho OR Remote out of: Illinois, Wisconsin, Michigan, Ohio, New York, Florida, or Nebraska. Travel may be required up to 50% of the time.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Leadership & Strategy

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with company goals.
  • Own the sales function, exceeding revenue quotas and performance metrics.
  • Monitor industry trends, competition, and positioning to optimize sales efforts.
  • Identify and implement AI-driven solutions to enhance sales processes.

Business Development

  • Drive full-cycle sales, from initial outreach to deal closing.
  • Clearly communicate the firm's value proposition to prospective clients.
  • Cultivate relationships with private equity professionals, hedge funds, and consultancies.
  • Attend client meetings and industry conferences as needed.

Team & Performance Management

  • Build, manage, and mentor a high-performing sales team while also closing deals.
  • Maintain an active sales pipeline and ensure accurate CRM tracking.
  • Partner with Customer Success and Operations for seamless client transitions.
  • Provide regular sales performance insights to leadership.

What You Bring

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 7+ years in sales, business development, or lead generation, preferably selling to financial firms.
  • Proven success in closing enterprise deals ($200k+ contracts).
  • Experience in leadership while also being an active contributor.

Skills & Attributes

  • Strong executive presence with exceptional communication skills.
  • Expertise in Salesforce, LinkedIn, Salesloft, and CRM platforms.
  • Ability to engage C-level executives in a consensus-driven sales process.
  • Quick adaptability to new processes, tools, and technology.
